Barbara and I are on the roof top of our riad having breakfast. You climbed 68 stairs to have a lovely view of the Atlantic ocean and the entire city. For those of you that are wondering what a riad is, its somewhat like a bed and breakfast. The literal translation of the arabic word riad is garden. Thus a riad should consist, theoretically, of a garden planted with trees. These old-style Moroccan houses can be found in the medinas, and very many have become available to visitors. The medinas are car free cities so you have to rent a wheel barrow man and walk into your riad from the outside walls.
