SO.... this was going to be my new little sister. Mom was going to adopt her. (Yes Kevin you read this right).. We were first told that you have to be Muslim to adopt children, but once they got there they were told otherwise. Today, mom came home really sad because a family from Switzerland has adopted this little girl. What a happy day-- she is going to grow up with endless opportunities now that she does not have to stay in the orphanage.

I have been waiting for the "adoption" word to appear. As soon as you said you were going to be working in an orphanage, Laura, I knew that was coming. Your heart is too big and those kids are so precious. What a beautiful little girl. Glad she is going to a beautiful place. We are enjoying your adventure. Kevin heads off every night (with Montago) to visit the folks. He's a great guy. They both miss you.
You ladies are great. This will probably change the way you see the world forever. Hats off to you. Jan
My dearest Beav, she is a cute little girl. I am very please that she will have the opportunity to speak and enjoy the swiss culture. I didn't see the text until this morning, that was the reason for my late response. I do love youand hope have a wonderful time this weekend. Love always, Sud
